He is survived by: his children, Johanna Ehlhardt of Seattle, WA, Michael Ehlhardt of Dutch Harbor, AK, Matthew Ehlhardt (Lynn) of Chico, CA, Mark Ehlhardt (Nanette) of Kuna, ID and Laurie Powell (Daniel) of Eugene, OR.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Donations can be made in his memory to the Cascades Raptor Center.
