He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mischa Steinhardt and Pearl Steinhardt; his wife Betsy; his brother Arnold; his sister-in-law Dorothea; his niece Natasha; and his nephews, Alexej, Andy and Rafa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Pete Moore Hospice, Eugene, and Parkinson's Resources of Oregon.
