He was predeceased by: his parents, William N. Shelley and Myrtle Bolgan Shelley; his wife Lois; and his son Duane. He is survived by: his siblings, William (Lois), Edward (Betty), Phyllis, Duane and Joyce (Roger); his children, Diane Ray (Bob), Doug Shelley and Debbie Leiken (Sid); his grandchildren, Josh Ray, Rachel Paoff (Danny), Lois Ray, Tyrel Shelley, Brianna Shelley, Taylor Shelley (Madison), Zach Leiken (Hannah) and Gabriel Leiken; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Treven, Kylin, Athena and Lilian; and his sister-in-law Joyce Alldridge (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Phil's memory to New Hope Christian College.
