She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Erik Dahlke and Lydia Dahlke; her husband Elmer B. Harles; and her daughters, Carol McGarry, Susan Garland of Beaverton and Geri Goode of Eugene.

Memorial donations in Myrtle's name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society through which she and Elmer volunteered.
