He is survived by: his wife Lindsay Brooke Elliott (Witham); his parents, Lawrence Bruce and Linda Marie Elliott (Frey); his sister Laura Jehane Elliott; and his nephews, Trevor O'Brien Elliott and Bryan Samuel Elliott. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

“Larry and Linda, I don’t even know if you will see this so late after Brien’s (Lawrence’s) passing but in case you remember me as the interloper who came on the Mexico trip from Wisconsin, and someone who visited you in Washington, your son was a bright, loving, curious light in the world and I am so very sad to hear of my friend’s passing far too soon.
