She is survived by: her husband Senator James Ivory Manning Jr. of Eugene, OR.; her sons, Damon Allen Ross Sr. of Kansas City, MO and Jerale Ivory Manning of Eugene; her stepsons, James Ivory Boyd (Brenda) of Austin, TX, Wendell and Brandon Marshall Boyd (Mary) of St. Louis, MO.; her siblings, Al Ross (Pat) of Chicago, IL, Arthur Ross Jr. (Marquita) of Kansas City, MO, Darryl Ross (Lee) of Kansas City, MO, Gary A. Ross (Shelley) of Kansas City, MO., Diana Randall (Joe) of Maureo, LA, Glenda E Garry of Kansas City, MO and Karen E Ross White (Robbie) of Kansas City, MO.; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Marie Epps, Patricia Manning, Gwendolyn Manning (Victor), Wendy Marie Simpson (Brian) and Lonnell Manning; and her siblings, Minister Dorsey Golston Jr. and Queen Golston. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She believed in Community Service and was involved in the Non-Profit Oregon Black Education Foundation providing scholarships to underserved students which she is a co-founder.
