“I just learned of Ken's passing, with great sadness. It was a privilege to know Ken. I worked with him at the library's bookstore for several years. I came to deeply respect his curiosity, his diligence, his strong sense of ethics, and his respect for others' perspectives even when he disagreed. I enjoyed his company very much. During the pandemic, he reached out to me a few times by phone, sharing experiences he knew would interest me. Knowing Ken enriched my life; I will never forget him.”
