She is survived by: her daughter Leilani Chmela; and her stepchildren, Frank Chmela III, Darren Chmela, Carrie Clyde and Donna Bellon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Westside Baptist Church, in honor of Karen.
