He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Alvis and Martha Alvis (Lowe); his wife Sue; and his children, Rex Alvis (Lisa), Jennifer Wood (John) and Eric Alvis (Letha). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
