She was predeceased by: her son Christopher; and her brother Richard Ficker. She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Kathie McKay (Alvin), James Walsh (Kirin), Michael Walsh (Debbie) and Donna Dorsey (Bernie); her grandchildren, Randy McKay, Daniel McKay, Ryan Walsh, Lauren Walsh, Samantha Walsh and Sean Dorsey; her brother-in-law Tom Walsh; and her parents, Anton Ficker and Margaret Ficker.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Sacred Heart Hospice and the Alzheimer's Association.
