With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilda Newman of Eugene, Oregon, who passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilda Newman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stone and Celia Stone; and her brother Albert Stone. She is survived by: her husband Louis Newman; her children, Roberta Kulber (Ted), Howard Newman (Mary Beth Llorens) of Eugene, OR and Sherah Newman (Martin Benade); her grandchildren, Rachel Kulber, Matthew Kulber (Tanya Cruz), Taj Newman, Erich Schafermeyer, Anna Benade (Patrick Burke) and Alyssa Benade; and her great grandchildren, Tahlia Kulber and Miriam Burke.

Contributions in Gilda's memory (in lieu of flowers) are suggested to the ACLU and/or The Hospice of the Western Reserve.

(John 5:28, 29) God promises that “He will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.””
