Floyd Stead Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 88, Floyd Stead of Eugene, Oregon, born in Horton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Floyd had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Floyd may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stead and Pauline Stead. He is survived by: his children, Juli Jensen (Dan) of Yuba City, CA, Janelle Swatman (Barry) of Albany, OR and Mike Stead (Amy) of Elmira, OR; and his siblings, Jack Stead, Lois DeRousse and Corinne Timberman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the River Road Baptist Church (1105 River Rd, Eugene, OR 97404).
