He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Massengill Sr. and Leta Maret Massengill; his brothers, Robert "Bozo" Massengill and Danny Massengill; his wife Carol Massengill of Eugene, Oregon; his children, Tina Fluent of Eugene, Bonnie Massengill of Roseburg, Jessica Massengill of Springfield Oregon, Mary of Springfield, Oregon and Seth Smith of Eugene, Oregon; and his brother Leroy Massengill of Port Orford, Oregon.. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends.
