He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evelyn Gross Smith and Eugene Smith; his daughters, Connie Henson (Gary), Teresa Kruckman (Dennis), Cyndi Lowell (Scott), Kathy Simms (Patrick), Laura Crawford (Curtis) and Lucille; his grandson Steven Dexter; and his brother Harlan Gydesen. He was also cherished by 11 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
