She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chicano and Mary Chicano (Rojo); her siblings, John Chicano and Mary Giusti; her granddaughter Melissa Jaatit (Johnson); and her son-in-law Gary Cheda (Bud Ritter).

She is survived by: her sister Isabell Poiani of Petaluma, CA; and her children, Joan Thayer (Bruce) of Rawlins, WY and Lorette Cheda (Bruce) of Pt. She is also survived by her grand-children, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
