He was predeceased by: his father Américo Piera Sr.; his stepfather Armando Delgado; and his mother Teresa Zevallos of Delgado. He is survived by: his children, Ursula, Claudia, Vivianna, Renzo, Nathalie and Sharaza; his grandchildren, Krizia, Ursula, Vasco, Rodrigo, Bianca, María Fernanda, Mariano, Mateo, Benjamin, Daniella and Giulia; his great grandchild Matteo; and his siblings, Marisa Delgado, Gabriela Delgado, Ana Piera, Odette Piera, Irene Piera, Américo Piera Jr. and Jorge Delgado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will not take place due to COVID-19 restrictions.
