He was predeceased by: his father Edward Cornett; and his son Wesley. He is survived by: his mother Shelby Cornett; his wife Karlene; his children, Deserae Smouse and Tara Churchill; and his siblings, Ed, Cindy, Russell, Ron, Susan, Kathy and Jim. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
