She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Don Spears; her children, Ed, Joe, Tom and Kate; her stepdaughter Annie; her brothers, Steve, Bruce and Tom; and her parents, Marvin Ring and Elizabeth Ring. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren.
