He was predeceased by: his parents, Niels Merrill and Flora Genier Nielson. He is survived by: his siblings, Audrey (Shinall), Donald, Douglas and Gene; his wife Elouise Parker DeFoe; his children, Patricia, Michelle, Cherie Grube (Dennis), Lloyd Barry, Jr. and Andre Christian Michael; his friend Everett; and also, Lloyd Barry Nielson, Jr. (Tamara) and Andre Trego (Helen). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
