He is survived by: his children, Theresa Hovda Coscia (Al), Tracy Hovda Corbitt (Phillip), Jerry Hovda (Traci) and Scott Hovda (Ann); his siblings, Garth Hovda (Cindy), Gladys Kent, Maxine Rogalski (Chuck) and LeOla Postlethwait; his grandchildren, Luke Coscia, Bradley Corbitt (Jenna), Ashley Corbitt DeHart (Matt), Wesley Corbitt (Becca), Cody, Riley Hovda, Whitney Schreiber Hovda, Ashlee O'Neil, Britanee Gifford (Brandon) and McKenzie Hovda; his great grandchildren, Drew, Lila, Claire Corbitt, Morgan, Nathan, William, Owen, Benjamin DeHart, Charlie Corbitt, Olliver and Arabella Gifford; his caregivers, Mike and Catherine Hewgill; and also Elizabeth.
