He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Hovey and Jessie Hovey (Williams); his wife Doreen; his children, Kathy Edwards (Tom), Steve Hovey (Shawna), Jody Thoman (Dave) and Carol Sturman (Peter); his sister Jessa Lee Booky; and his stepsons, Mark Dotson (Michele) and Matthew Dotson (Barbette). He was also cherished by 5 granddaughters.
