He is survived by: his family, Michael and Mickey; his wife Carol Carpenter; and his children, Scott Carpenter of Boise, Idaho, Michelle Powell of Bend, Oregon, Kathy Zacharias of Enterprise, Oregon and Casey Kelley of Medford, Oregon.. He is also survived by six siblings.
