He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Wolford and Pearl Wolford (Cox); his wife Thelma McMichael; his siblings, James, Dora and Dorothy; and his son William Wiley "Billy" Wolford, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Lene of Pendleton and Harold Lee Wolford of Union; and his brothers, Fred Wolford of Oakland and Gerald "Jerry" Wolford of Roseburg. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
