He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Hightower and Billie Hightower (Hill); and his siblings, Virginia Messer (Vern) and Michael Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Hergert; his children, Teresa Zyla of Elgin, OR and William W. Hightower II (Lori) of Willow Creek, CA; and his siblings, Victor Hightower (Jacqueline) of Lakewood, WA and R. Gail Rowe of Mississippi. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
