It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Jean Witherspoon of Elgin, Oregon, born in Fowler, California, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Artie G. Pierce and Pearl Irene Pierce; her brother Lindsey Pierce; her stepbrother Ray Morrison; her children, Trista Michele of Walla Walla, WA and Kelby Sean Witherspoon of Baker, OR; her husband Dale Witherspoon; her child Keara Witherspoon of Eugene, OR; her brother Artie Pierce of Tillamook, OR; and her grandchildren, Lerae Nichole Ruck, Aaron Hunter Johnson, Aubrey Grace, Landen Rhett and Annalise Paige Witherspoon. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Roberta's name be made to either the Shriners Children's Hospital for Children, 3101 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97239-3095 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
