He was predeceased by: his parents, William Botz and Iola Botz (Michaud); his brother Tommy Botz; his brother-in-law Jim Epley; and his grandson Mason Martin.
He is survived by: his wife LaVeta Sasser; his daughters, Pam Davis (Jim) of Boardman, OR, Cindy Chandler (Bob), Teresa Martin (Terry) of Elgin and Sandra Lathrop (Ron) of Wallowa; and his siblings, Deanna Epley of Portland and John Botz (Betty) of Roseburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
