He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Caplinger and Wilhelmina Lois Hedrick Caplinger; and his wife Connie. He is survived by: his brother Richard Caplinger (Susan); his stepchildren, Kim, Kaye Limbaugh, Kathi Leckrone, Becky Thomas Donaldson, Lisa Thomas Kuhlman and Kelly Limbaugh; his stepgrandchildren, Bridget, James, Janelle Donaldson, Olivia and Kate Kuhlman; his niece Shelly Caplinger; and his nephew Derek Caplinger (Carol).
