He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hartsteen and Francesca Hartsteen; his brother Reginald; and his granddaughter Kalani. He is survived by: his wife Darla Jean Cook; his children, Amanda Hartsteen, Ashlee Clark (Justin), Nychal Hartsteen (Nichole) and Tyler Hartsteen; and his sisters, Arditza of Groot, Ruby O'Dell, Gail Miller and Tessa Campos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
