He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Porter Lee Whitehead and Virginia Oprial Dodson; his son Dwayne Laurence Whitehead; his wife Bonnie EM Krum; his daughter Darlene; his former spouse Bryan Whitlock; his sons, Davis Whitehead (Angela Keatts), Dale Whitehead (Amanda Hughes), Dustin Whitehead (Sarah Veare) and Donne Whitehead (Heather Walrath); his friend Floyd Swanger; and his pet Dino. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
