He was predeceased by: his grandmother Phyllis Hammond; and his stepgrandmother Dolores Roberts. He is survived by: his grandparents, Merle, Iris Kloster and Edgar Roberts; his stepgrandfather Ronald Hammond; his parents, Gerald Roberts and Cherri Roberts; his daughters, Alexis and Isabel Roberts; his sister Amanda Roberts; his niece Deanna; and his nephew Christopher Helvie.
Most who knew Nate, know he was a type 1 diabetic and a long time supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, always believing there would be a cure. As the disease that took his life, instead of cards and flowers, the family will accept donations in memorial at JDRF.org.
