He was predeceased by: his wives, Nola and Sue; and his parents, True Collins and James Collins. He is survived by: his daughters, Ronda Sheldon and Racheal Murray; his nephew Jesse Collins (Ronda); and his grandchildren, Jake Epperly (Heather), Cody Epperly, Tori Ryals, Erik Epperly, Aj Ryals, Tracy Epperly, Aurora Tolver and Kennedy Koda Sheldon. He is also survived by great-grand children.
