It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Jess Nelson (Dayton, Oregon), born in Tygh Valley, Oregon, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Nelson and Martha Nelson; his wife Violet Drain; his son Dennis Nelson; and his siblings, Victor, Douglas, Orval, Verle, Elizabeth Dumdi and Agnes Goetzinger.
He is survived by: his children, David Nelson, Norine Sutter and Linda Alford. He is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
