He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

“I attended Dallas High School with Steve and Kim in the mid 70s. I was able to connect with them in the last few years. Steve was a no nonsense, get it done kind of guy. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. Those who did are grieving, however there is rejoicing in heaven that another child of God has come home. I will spend some time with you, Steve, when I get there too. Mike Jacobson”
