He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Gardner and Hazel Gardner; and his son Jim Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughter Nancy Yancey (Doug); his daughter-in-law Julie Gardner; his grandchildren, Madi Gardner, Ellie Fast (Kade), Melanie Gray, Michael Gardner and McKenzie Gray; his great grandchildren, Evan Gardner and Blake Gardner; his siblings-in-law, Freda Pankratz and Darrell Chambers (Patricia); his cousins, Mary and Kathy; and his nieces and nephews, Larry, Bryan, Ernie, Vicki, Brenda and Barry.
