She is survived by: her brother Jimmy; her husband Tim of Dallas; her daughter Cindy Joy; her son-in-law Michael Westerberg of Napa, CA; her granddaughter Cecelia Carsillo (Jason); her great grandchildren, Maelyn, Nora and Ronan of Sonoma, CA; her grandson Jason Westerberg (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Finn and Lottie of Santa Cruz, CA; her son Timothy M.; her daughter-in-law Rebekah Bartel; her grandchildren, Zachary, Makayla and Bianca of Salem, OR; her son Daniel J. Bartel of Dallas, OR; her granddaughters, Macie, Emma and Sadie of Commerce City, CO; and her siblings, Raymond Utterback of Astoria, OR and Esther (Terry Watson).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dallas First Christian Church (1079 SE Jefferson St, Dallas, OR 97338). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Salt Creek Cemetery.
Joy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025 struggling for some time with Alzheimer's disease while her family was at her side.
