He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elsworth Aaron and Olive Laura Deal Burbank; his wife Susan Michele Brown Burbank of Dallas; his sons, Daniel Burbank (Carissa) of Dallas, Rich Burbank of Dallas and Jacob Burbank (Kathleen) of Nyssa; his siblings, Lyle Burbank of Philomath and Alma Clark of Vancouver, Washington.; and his granddaughter Rachel. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
