With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Louise Cook (Creswell, Oregon), born in Myrtle Point, Oregon, who passed away on November 11, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Southmayd and Celia Southmayd; her stepfather Ed Russell; and her brothers, Lewis and Jim.

She is survived by: her children, Judy, Ric, Joy and Janet; her nephew Jayson; her spouse Richard; and her sister Becky. She is also survived by many grandchildren and their families, including several great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Grove Christian Camp.
