Carole Genevive (Carole Durkee) Wolford Obituary
On Saturday July 30, 2022 Carole Wolford loving wife and mother passed away peacefully in her home from cancer! Carole was born in Los Angeles California to Ralph and Dorothe Durkee on November 15, 1935 she was 86 years old, she was their only child! They passed several years before her. Carole married Tommy Wolford in his parents home in Torrance, California on March 11, 1954 they were married for 68 years. Tom was serving in the Air Force at that time and shipped out to Japan soon after their ceremony, when he returned they settled into have a family of three children. A few years later they made the decision to move to Creswell Oregon to raise their family. They remain there to this day. Carole was a busy crafter of everything that could be created and loved her garden as well. She is survived by her husband Tom, a daughter Linda Ehrich of LaPine, OR a daughter Denise Huston of Eugene, OR and a son Keith Wolford of Camas Valley, OR, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two grandchildren Ray Cokeley and Sandra Cokeley both of Eugene, OR preceded her in death. She was very active in her church and loved the lord dearly. There will be a “celebration of life” at Creswell Faith Center on 755 Front St. Creswell, OR 98426 on Saturday Sept 3rd at 11:00 am service will start at 12:00 noon. Smith Lund Mills of Cottage Grove. OR in charge of cremation .
