He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester "Grady" and Frances Smith (Nations); and his brother Lehrling Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ozie D. Smith of Cove; his children, Paula (Lindsey Davenport) of Cove, OR and Douglas (Lynne Smith) of Sherwood, OR; and his sister-in-law Maxine Smith of Lebanon, OR. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 19 nieces and nephews.
