Michael Widerschein wrote a sympathy message

“Dear family & friends of Tom: I am greatly saddened by the news of Tom's passing. We were good friends in junior high & high school. I was looking forward to our 50th reunion in order to see him again. I'm attaching a photo of Tom, myself (I am the guy on the left) and 2 other friends. This was backstage at our high school vaudeville show. We were Chuck Roast & the Potatoes. We brought the house down while actually singing "Blue Moon" and "Tell Laura I Love Her!" Great memories. Bless you all.”
