He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Leroy Sears of York and Teedie Mae Emerson of Westerville, Nebraska.; and his sister Martha "Louise" Clark. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kay Vaughn; his brother David Sears (Connie) of Wickenburg; and his sons, James Sears (Penny) of Creswell, Keith Sears (Barbara) of Creswell and Robert Sears (Jody) of Cheney. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
