He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Dockery and Edna Dockery (Bryson); his wife Anna; his sons, Matthew Dockery (Gwen) of Harrisburg and Jeremy Dockery (Jennifer) of Creswell; and his stepchildren, Scott Farley (Summer) of Springfield and Traci Casto (Jeff) of Cottage Grove. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He died from Alzheimer's Disease on June 15, 2021.
