“I volunteered in Nicoresti, Romania with Conchita in 1991. I was looking through photographs just now and decided to look her up on-line. I am heartbroken to find Conchita’s obituary! She was such an inspiration to me during the cold winter in that pitiful orphanage. I had a much better hold on my frustration/outrage at the whole situation after my conversations with Conchita. I had hoped to make contact with her again! Sympathy to the family from Julie Traeger Julian in Richmond, Virginia”
