She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schuessler and Gladys Anderson (White); her stepfather Robert Anderson; her former husband Dr. John L. Buchanan (Jack); and her sisters, Linda Bounds (Anderson) and Sandy Hallett (Anderson).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Kier (Kathy), Kevin Kier (Tracie), Brian Kier (Heather) and Greg Kier (Leslie); her sister Judy Cole (Jerry); her stepchildren, Catherine (Phil) and James (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Josh, John, Ryan, Michael, Michaela, Andrew, Riley, Tyler, Jamie, Tessa, Madeline, Mackenzie, Cheyanne, Jordann, Austin, Ashur, Parker, Millie, Cole, Palina and Caledonia. She is also survived by 7 children, 21 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Northwest Hills Community Church (3300 NW Walnut Blvd, Corvallis, OR 97330).
