We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2023, at the age of 58, Russell D Burchard (Corvallis, Oregon) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Burchard and Elinor Burchard. He is survived by: his wife Fran of Albany; and his brother Ashby of Montana. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law; cousins and nieces and nephews.
Because of his strong commitment to his students and work, he earned the college's 2006 Pastega Excellence Award, a prestigious honor that recognizes faculty and staff members for their outstanding contributions to the college.
