With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Joesph Schmeltz of Corvallis, Oregon, born in Toledo, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schmeltz and Ruth Schmeltz; and his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen (Nick), Christina, Teresa (Linda) and Linda (Mike); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Joe, Jared, Brent, Kaylee, Kyle and Brandon. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Roger's name to either Evergreen Hospice or Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
