We bid farewell to Neil Harlan Killion (Corvallis, Oregon), born in Emerson, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 25, 2024 at the age of 82. Neil Harlan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Barnard and Ruth Jeanette Killion (Roberts); his siblings, Betty Wilcox and Paul Killion; and his nephew Jimmy Wilcox.
He is survived by: his wife Quinna Lanelle Thornberg (Lynne); his children, Paul E. Killion, Cindi A. Bergquist, Sharon L. Russell, Lewanne Weisweaver, Neil A. Killion and Michael B. Killion; his sister Mary Killion; and his niece Kathy Johnson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Suburban Christian Church (2760 SW 53rd St, Corvallis, OR 97333). The military honors was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Willamette National Veteran's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made as gifts in Neil's memory to either Hebrews 13:3 prison ministry at Suburban Christian Church or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
