He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Nelson and Mina Nelson (Scott); his wife Gloria Nelson (Danielson) of Lake Preston; and his siblings, William (Bill) and Nancy.
He is survived by: his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Mary Nelson; his granddaughters, Grace and Molly; and his sister Marla Skoglund.
