We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2023, at the age of 68, Leslie Reese Bell in Corvallis, Oregon, born in Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sally Bell. She is survived by: her father Richard Bell; her husband John Yochem; and her sister Cecily Brown of Scio. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
He was a source of pride in the family for his contributions to the modern form of the butterfly stroke and for having coached the U.S. women's team at the Olympics in Finland 1952.
