He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Pliskin and Irving Pliskin; his wife Nancy; his son Ben Pliskin (Whitney Heffernan); his grandchildren, Eleanor "Ellie" Pliskin and William "Will" Pliskin; his brothers, Philip Pliskin (Sandy) and Steven Pliskin (Cheryl); his brothers-in-law, Robert Owens (Mary Ann) and William Owens (Christine); his nieces and nephews, Michelle Franklin (Chris), Monica Dugan (Justin), Joey Pliskin (Dione) and Taylor Owens (Alyssa Lamontagne); his great-nephew Colin Dugan; his daughter Jessica; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Betty Owens.
